Homeowner + agreements
One project can involve several businesses.
Sales representative / dealer
Proposal, representations, and sales communications
Installer / EPC contractor
Installation, inspections, workmanship, and repairs
Lender / lease or PPA provider
Financing, ownership, price, and payment terms
Loan servicer
Statements, account history, and payment administration
Equipment manufacturer
Product specifications and equipment warranties
Utility
Interconnection, PTO, and electricity billing
Read the relationships, not a fixed sequence
These roles may overlap or be performed by different entities. A dealer may sell a project that another business installs; a servicer may administer an account for a different owner. Your signed documents identify the relationships that need to be investigated. A warranty and an arbitration clause may apply to only one agreement.
Four questions to start the review
Who made the promise? Who performed the work? Who financed the transaction? Which agreement governs each disputed issue? Make a separate row for each answer and record the document that supports it.
